Thousands of surveyors, engineers and other geospatial professionals will travel to Las Vegas June 2-5 for HxGN Live. The world’s largest event dedicated to helping professionals harness the power of Hexagon’s technologies will feature more than 60 exhibiting sponsors, three football fields of technology innovation and valuable networking opportunities.
The training sessions, which will be held on June 2 and June 4, are one of the chief highlights of the event. This year’s conference will include a four-hour training session focused on the innovative multistation technology that was launched at HxGN LIVE 2013.
On Monday, June 2, 8 a.m. to noon, Shannon Hixon and David Langley of Leica Geosystems will demonstrate the efficiencies of a powerful hardware and software package in Session 1104 - Leica Nova MS50 / Infinity / MultiWorx. Participants in this hands-on workshop will take a deep dive into the workflows of the MS50, Infinity and MultiWorx, and will experience the dramatic improvements in productivity that can be achieved. The workshop will cover Leica Nova MS50 field operations, including total station workflows when scanning, taking images and conducting high-density scans of specific areas; fixing possible field set-up errors in Infinity; exporting files from Infinity; and using MultiWorx to create deliverables.
Participants who want a more in-depth look into point cloud processing using a more comprehensive Leica plug-in for AutoCAD can sign up for the related CloudWorx for AutoCAD class.
The cost to attend this four-hour class is $225. Seats are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
To sign up for this session, register for HxGN LIVE at www.hxgnlive.com and select the training sessions you wish to attend.
